Along the tour, you might find yourself at a house where a hidden 1850s log cabin was uncovered during restoration. Just down the way, you’ll visit a home that once welcomed travelers as a bustling post–Civil War boarding house, filled with life and conversation.
And then there’s one with a story you truly can’t make up, a home built for a young couple that later became part of a local family scandal, where history is still quite literally carved into the cellar walls.
We’re giving you just a peek at a few of the stops… but trust us, the stories, and the porches, are even better in person. 🌿
