Before the surf shops, coffee stops, and sunset walks to the pier, there were ranchers, merchants, fishermen, and families building the foundation of Cayucos.

A visit to the Cayucos History Museum is a chance to step back in time and discover the stories behind the pier, the people, and the coastal community that continues to make this town special.

Located inside Cayucos Landing at the foot of the pier, the museum features photographs, artifacts, and exhibits that bring the early days of Cayucos to life.

Admission is free and the museum is open weekends from 11 AM–3 PM.
