Camp Royaneh

A 380 acre Nationally Accredited Scouting America located in the beautiful redwood forest of Cazadero. It is open to boys and girls in our program.

Camp Royaneh is a 3800 acre nationally accredited camp located in the redwood forest of Cazadero. The camp offers a chance to hike, ride horses rock climb and more. The camp offers expert instruction in popular skill merit badges. It is rich in wildlife and allows for the study of conservation, wildlife management, nature study and more.

On the second to last day of camp, someone (the staff) moved the teepee all the way down the hill from Mountain Man to the parade field. Though this prank has been done before, this is the first time we got to see the wooden scout peeking out the top.

What is the funniest prank you've seen pulled at camp?

One of the benefits of having so many musicians on staff is that they can make even a reach pole sound like a functional bugle! Reposting because it was muted before.

That's a wrap on our 2026 summer camp season!

Campers went home on Saturday, and after all of our clean up and end of year celebrations, our staff left yesterday. Throughout the next couple of weeks, we will be posting some more updates and highlights on things that happened this summer!

Here are some highlights from our first couple days of Adventure Camp! This has been a wonderful opportunity for our Webelows and AOL scouts to get to the see the Scouts, BSA camp in action, as well as for all of our older scouts to get to learn from and welcome in the Cubs.

Another horsie highlight!

Here are some pictures from our Outpost Ride from last night! The wranglers take the scouts on a trail ride to our outpost location, they all eat dinner together, tell stories, eat smores, and sleep under the stars. This is one of our scouts' and staff's favorite experiences that we get to offer every week.
