Amazing Zion National Park in Utah 😍

02/25/2024

We have received a lot of questions recently about the waterfalls at Gunlock State Park.

At this time, the waterfalls are NOT flowing. There was a brief period within the last weeks where the falls began flowing, but that has since stopped.

Before heading to Gunlock State Park, we recommend checking our website for updated information on the falls and other park conditions: https://stateparks.utah.gov/parks/gunlock/

WATERFALL SAFETY: Recreating on the rocks near the waterfalls is dangerous. Rocks are slick, water is swift, and covered hazards exist in the pools. We strongly encourage visitors to use caution and be observant in the area. With changing weather this early in the season, there is the possibility of ice and additional slippery conditions. Please follow the advice of the signage posted in the area.

REMINDER: The waterfalls are within Gunlock State Park, which is a fee area. Please utilize the appropriate pay station to pay your entrance fee. Utah State Parks annual day-use passes are accepted.
