Hear ye, Hear ye
We would like to make it official....
As many of you know this is our last summer as a B&B as we are retiring.
We are considering selling our Inn and live in a home somewhat smaller and more suited to our physical abilities to maintain.
We have soooo enjoyed sharing our lives with you and cherish the friendships nurtured over these last 22 years.
We welcome you back to this our farewell summer.
The Garden Cottage B&B will be open this year on Thurs, Fri, and Sat only.

Our amazing, talented, gifted, beautiful daughter Holly Simkins (Schack)

was nominated and WON the Huntsman Award for Excellence in Education! The amazing ceremony was Friday night and what an Event!!!! It was held at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City. It was an amazing experience! All our daughters were there to celebrate their sister! We were able to meet her colleagues who nominated her, it was such a joyful occasion!
They only give out 7 of these awards to educators in our state.
I am so proud of her and all her hard work, dedication, persistence, love and fortitude that she brings to work with her everyday. She dreams big for each child and because of this, they dream big and become more then they ever thought possible. She believes in them every step of the way and sometimes that’s all they need to succeed. I’m so happy that she is recognized for the amazing person, and TEACHER that she is!!!
