Its with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of the Cedar Grove Inn's owner Jay Holland. Our hearts are heavy but they are lifted by the memories that we have shared during his 20+ years of ownership. He is sorry that he will miss the party.

John L. “Jay” Holland, 74, of Cedar Grove, N.J., passed away on Aug. 6, 2018. Visitation will be on Thursday, Aug. 9 from 4-8 p.m. at Shook’s Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove, N.J. Services will begin on Friday at 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be a...

The Cedar Grove Inn staff lost a dear family member yesterday, Eileen Ryan Lunney. May God watch over her family during this very difficult time. She will be missed dearly by all that were lucky enough to blessed with her in their lives. Rest in peace.
