Finally, 18 months since Helene, the Seafoam Cottage will be available for rental once again. While there still a few issues to address outside, not major, it is ready to host you. It will be managed under Pelican Vacation Rental and should be available in the next week or two. I will post and pin the websites once that happens. We are thrilled to say the least, been a long journey!

It's been a minute since we updated the progress, but we are just about at the finish line. We will be complete in March! It's been a long 17 months!

What a better way to spend Labor Day than with laboring thru it! We are actually taking labor day weekend off as this update is from this past week. We left feeling pretty good, and exhausted, with the progress. We didn't get this far without the help of family. It helps when your in-laws are carpenters. But this house is real old and has weathered many a storm. You have a better chance of finding a square room in a round house than you do here. They have had their work cut out for them indeed.

Slow progress still, but tis still progess. Gonna hit it hard at the end of August. Gotta git'er done! Cedar Key is still the place to be!

Haven't posted in a bit, progress has been slow. Those T-111 boards will be placed throughout the cottage then painted. Plan is to finish out completely the kitchen and living room before starting in the bedrooms/bathrooms. Slow progress is better than no progress I reckon. We are also still waiting for the elevation to be approved. Will definitely feel better when it sits higher!
