The Island Hotel & Restaurant is one of Florida's most famous Inns (10 rooms) and is the perfect location for your next Florida vacation, dinner, or special event. Its walls have withstood hurricanes for almost 150 years, and its sloping wooden floors have survived the passage of innumerable feet. Built as the general store and post office, it has changed little over the years. Sit on a rocker on

the long balcony and watch the sun set over the Gulf, relax in our informal and cozy lounge bar, painted in 1948 with murals of Cedar Key and King Neptune, for whom the bar is named. Or just spend a relaxing morning or evening in the hotel lobby and reflect on years past when the lobby of a hotel was the center of social activity. Strike up a conversation with a stranger who is looking for just exactly what you are...a relaxing and comfortable break from the hectic world that exists outside of Cedar Key!

We are excited to celebrate all the Moms out there! We wish every Mother a great day and know that you are very special!

We will be serving our Full Island Hotel Menu along with some Special Mother’s Day Entrees:
- Guest Favorite: Crab stuffed fish
- Crab Imperial: Our version of crab cakes
- Katerini: Fish stuffed with spinach & artichoke
- Quincey Cattle 12 oz Ribeye, 8 oz Filet, and 4 oz Filet

Biscuits & Gravy on the menu.
5/2 Sat: Tiki Fest Artists: (CY 6-9 PM). We will be serving our full menu and smoked pulled pork with cream corn and potato salad.
5/3 Sun: Tiki Fest Artists: (Neptune Lounge & CY with Biscuits & Gravy 9:30-11:30).

In the event weather is an issue on Saturday, Tiki Fest will utilize The Neptune Lounge and Bair's Cave for indoor space.

We will moving the show indoors to The Neptune Lounge becuase of wind. We have a lot of reservations moving inside from The Courtyard, so we will be creating additional seating and utilizing Bair's Cave for overflow.
