Located just minutes from Cedar Mountain, DuPont offers more than 80 miles of trails winding through waterfalls, mountain vistas, forests, and granite domes. Whether you're looking for an easy family walk or a challenging backcountry adventure, there's a trail for every skill level.
Some local favorites include:
• Triple Falls, one of the most photographed waterfalls in North Carolina and featured in The Hunger Games
• High Falls, a stunning 120-foot waterfall with scenic overlooks and a covered bridge
• Ho**er Falls, an easy hike that's perfect for families
• Burnt Mountain Loop, a moderate trail offering beautiful forest scenery and elevated views
• Cedar Rock and Big Rock, known for their incredible panoramic vistas across the Blue Ridge Mountains
