Wells State Park J.W. Wells State Park is located in the Upper Peninsula on Lake Michigan between Escanaba and Menomiee

Wells State Park includes 678 acres, a three-mile sandy beach shoreline for swimming, large picnic area, a modern campground and rustic cabins.

Spooktacular harvest festival Event Schedule

Friday, Sept. 23

7 pm: Spooky Stories at the Host Site Canopy with Treats

7:30 pm: Opening of the Spook Trail

Saturday, Sept. 24

10 am: Pumpkin Creations-Create a pumpkin face. Paint will be available if you would like to bring your own pumpkin to paint. Event clean-up will start at approximately 11:30 am.

12:30 pm: Halloween Crafts-Come and make a Halloween craft! Limit of 2 crafts per child only.

2:00 pm: Costume Parade-Meet at the canopy by the host site for the start of the costume parade. We will be walking the outside loop only.

2:30-4:30 pm: Trick or Treating-Campsites that wish to participate must display a pumpkin face. Please refrain from handing out any type of alcohol. This time is for candy distribution only.

5:00 pm: Hot Cider and treats available at the canopy

*This schedule is tentative and subject to change. Volunteers are running the events, not park staff. If you would like to volunteer to help with an event, please leave your information at the park office and a Friends Group member will be in contact with you.
