Last few weeks we’ve been trading up-front work for less long-term maintenance. We had three hills that were too steep to mow, so keeping them cleaned up was constant hands-on effort. So…. while clearing space for the Event Center, we tapered each hill shallow enough to mow with the tractor. A bit of grass and they’ll be good to go.

At 20 we quit counting downed trees - haven’t inspected the outer firebreaks as all routes are blocked. Cleared enough to access the buildings. Perhaps power will return this evening. More detailed clearing tomorrow.
