Some families I get to photograph once… and some families I get to watch grow for years. ❤️

I’ve been photographing this sweet family for what feels like forever, and not at the same time. So many of their memories have been captured around the Disney resorts. When that was no longer an option, they didn’t let that stop our tradition. They made the trip over to Celebration, and we found a whole new spot to make some magic together. ✨

And honestly, I think that’s one of my favorite things about being a photographer. It’s not really about the location. It’s about the people, the memories, and getting to see these families year after year as their kids grow.

Celebration ended up being the perfect backdrop for them, and I absolutely loved catching up with this family again. 🥰

So thankful for families who keep coming back and trusting me to document their lives. 💕

Another sweet baby girl to add to a family I’ve had the absolute joy of photographing over the years. 💕 I first met this family when their older siblings were little, and now I get to snuggle their newest addition! She was so chill it was amazing!!!

🌊 Planning a Cocoa Beach engagement session? Here are a few tips to make the most of your photos!

🌅 1. Timing is EVERYTHING.
For those dreamy beach photos, sunrise and sunset are your best friends! The harsh Florida midday sun can create strong shadows and make the beach much brighter and less flattering. plus a ton of people.

For sunset sessions, we’ll actually start about 1 hour before the official sunset time so we can capture that beautiful golden light leading up to sunset.

Sunrise is another gorgeous option and usually means fewer people on the beach. It’s an early start, but the soft morning light can be absolutely beautiful. ☀️and we will start 15 minutes before sunrise

🌴 2. Give yourself extra time.
Allow time for parking, traffic, and walking to the beach. You don't want to arrive stressed right before your session!

👗 3. Choose outfits that move.
Flowy dresses, linen, soft neutrals, and colors that complement the beach photograph beautifully.

🌬️ 4. Expect some wind.
It’s Cocoa Beach! Wind is part of the experience. Flowing hair and dresses can actually add movement and emotion to your photos. A brush and a few hair touch-ups are always a good idea.

❤️ 5. You don't have to know how to pose.
That's my job! I'll guide you through the session while also giving you plenty of opportunities to simply walk, laugh, cuddle, and enjoy each other.

🏖️ 6. Don't be afraid of the water!
Some of my favorite images happen right at the water's edge. If you're willing to kick off your shoes and get a little sandy, we'll have even more variety in your gallery.

📍 7. Trust the process.
Florida weather can be unpredictable, but clouds don't automatically mean bad photos. Sometimes they create the most beautiful, soft light!

Getting to photograph these two at such an important moment in their story was already pretty special, but then they brought me along to Puerto Rico to photograph their wedding!

One of my favorite places for family photos near Disney?
Celebration, Florida! 💕🌿

This little town has SO much to offer for photos, from charming streets and colorful buildings to beautiful greenery, fountains, and those classic Celebration details that make every gallery feel a little different.

It’s especially perfect for families visiting the Disney area who want that fun, magical Florida feel without actually needing to be on Disney property.

And honestly, I never get tired of photographing families here! 🥰

If you’re planning a Disney-area vacation and want to squeeze in family photos while you’re here, Celebration is definitely one of my favorite spots to recommend!

✨ A change of plans that turned into the PERFECT senior session! ✨

This senior session was originally planned for their Disney resort, but with the recent changes to third-party businesses at Disney resorts, we needed a new location.
Luckily, they had a rental car and were totally up for an adventure, so we headed over to Celebration! 💕🌴

And honestly... I think it was meant to be! Between the beautiful architecture, charming streets, lush greenery, and all the little spots we found along the way, Celebration gave us SO much variety for her senior portraits.

One of my favorite things about being a photographer is finding the perfect location for each session, even when the original plan has to change. Sometimes the backup plan ends up being even better than you imagined! ✨

If you're staying at a Disney resort and want beautiful senior, family, engagement, or vacation portraits outside of Disney property, Celebration is definitely one of my favorite options. And if you have a rental car, it's an easy little adventure from the resorts!
