Now that the "cat is out of the bag" regarding our retirement plans, we wanted to share with you just how awesome you have been in staying with us in our treehouses now for seven seasons. We're just getting started, so stay tuned and add your comments below as to your favorite each day. Just a reminder, guests started a game in this treehouse where they would hide a dollar, then add a clue to the journal. The game between guests became so popular that it eventually turned into hiding multiple dollars and giving multiple clues.

In nature, there are a variety of critters and bugs that will eat wood as a means of survival, building their colony, fending off attacks, etc. We were out working in this treehouse this morning and came across what may be the only two of these wood-eating critters in North Texas. Their Latin name is Woodicus Eatimost Ravinous, better known as Wood Rail Eaters in these parts. They're not dangerous to humans, but left alone, they can devour 8ft of wood rail an hour.
