Anyone up for hiking to a waterfall (or three)… there are plenty of places to see waterfalls in the Snowy Range with the Lake Marie bridge being a crowd fave. If you are a local however you know that crossing the street to the other side of the road will treat you to another raging waterfall and the most picturesque wooden bridge surrounded by fairy pools. For more tips on how to hike like a local, feel free to reach out to us or check out our friend feed. She is an expert on all things Wyoming outdoors and we always love seeing her content!

Summer hiking is a vibe and The Snowy Range has some phenomenal trails, pristine lakes and stunning peaks… all within about fifteen minutes of our Yurt Cabins. Throw in some waterfalls and wildflowers and a few moose sightings and you’ve got the epic summer getaway you’ve been dreaming about!

Love this sweet note from this weeks guests in the BLUE YURT. This weekend we had four different groups stay with us and all three yurts were occupied. It was such a beautiful weekend with leaves now on the trees and clear skies for stars. Hot tubs were 🔥 and grills are back in commission for the summer too!

Countdown to our summer season is officially in the single digits! While we’ve been closed for mud season we have been doing prep work to make sure everything is perfect for our summer guests. That means washing every linen, blanket, towel etc as well as deep cleaning all three hot tubs. Today we are having the yurts sprayed for spiders to keep creepy crawlers outside where they belong lol! Next will be staining, touching up paint, removing our winter walls, changing all batteries and making sure everything is in working order.

WHO ELSE IS READY FOR SUMMER ALREADY? I know we are sure! What is one thing you cannot wait to do this summer?

We are a hiking family for sure so we cannot wait to take our son Noah up Med Bow Peak this summer!

Today marks our very last clean until the summer season begins! Everything is s**c & span for our guests that are arriving to stay in the BLUE yurt cabin! We still have some wonderful guests staying in the ORANGE yurt cabin. When both of these parties check out we are officially closed for MUD SEASON!

What is mud season you ask? It is when all the snow from our winter season begins to melt… the entire town of Centennial slows down and one of the only restaurants that is open is the 😋 Most of us take the month of April off to avoid the muddy mess and comes back ready to go May 1!
