Peaceful Hills Retreat is ready and prepared to host your next big event, whether it is a wedding, reunion, anniversary party or retreat. We have everything you need to seat up to 200 people. Our team will do everything, so you can simply show up and enjoy your event! You may choose every last little detail from the type of tables to the fanciest of chairs. The beautiful white party tent is decorated with stringed lights from above creating the most joyful of atmospheres. Heating and cooling devices are provided as well, along with tablecloths, place settings and your choice of sparkling clean silverware. We have thought of every detail and look forward to blessing you with a fantastic experience! Depending on the type event, we have many wonderful choices available for you. We will listen to what you dream of having at your special event and be happy to help you make it happen! Invite your favorite food trucks to come, or have an incredibly delicious meal catered in and served to you and your honored guests. It just depends on your wishes and what you dream of having here. We have an amazing emcee and DJ ready to play your favorite tunes, announce the wedding party, and the first dance, plus we'll provide a dance floor and bar as well. Cottage
Peaceful Hills Cottage is the perfect place for you to find some peace & quiet. The cottage has a view of a spring-fed creek, big yard, hammock & fire pit. If you enjoy being surrounded by nature like birds, deer, turkey and the bright, twinkling stars, while staying in a clean, comfortable home, then look no further! The cottage has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, an open kitchen and dining room, with fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, blender, and Keurig stocked with coffee and tea, pots, pans, plates and bowls, glasses, and utensils. It has a living room with a piano, books, family room, popcorn, games, TV, and three bedrooms fully stocked with two pillows per person, sheets and comforters. Bathrooms have towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner, and hair dryer. There is also an iron and ironing board, laundry room, covered porches, foosball table and a hammock. Lodge
When you walk into the home, you will see the high-ceiling living room with the fireplace and oak spiral staircase. On the one side of the Lodge you will find the Majestic Queen bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, and spacious bathroom. The sparkling clean bathroom has a large counter, a mirror and a walk-in shower. On the other side of the home you'll discover the Music bedroom, with a new queen mattress, a large dresser, and closet. The Anchor Bunk Bed room, which sleeps two comfortably, has a sturdy, solid wooden bunkbed, a desk, dresser, and closet. The laundry room with a washer and dryer, plus a bathroom are on this side of the home as well. Upstairs we have the Lovely Loft bedroom which has room for three guests to sleep comfortably. It has a single bed as well as a bunk bed. The view from up there is lovely. The kitchen is fully stocked with a gas stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, Keurig, coffee maker, waffle iron, Vitamix blender and more. The dining room table seats 8 comfortably. It's ready for you to experience some much needed rest and relaxation! Cabin
Looking for the perfect getaway, you will find some peace and quiet here. Only 14.6 miles from I-40, this 2,496 square foot cabin is located in a beautiful place surrounded by nature. Deer, which often frequent the front yard to graze, are among the turkey and other wildlife you can find here. The cabin has five bedrooms, plus a music room. There are three queen bedrooms, one bunkbed room, and a single bedroom, plus a leather couch with a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. This gem is hidden in the peaceful hills of Tennessee where you'll definitely find some amazing peace and quiet! This cabin is also where the host of Peaceful Hills Retreat currently resides, however, when we travel, this home will become available as well. The upstairs has an open layout with a kitchen, dining, and living area. It's perfect for hosting parties and has a great view of the sunsets! CAMPING
RV and Tent Campsites
There are many campsites to choose from, including the Waterfall Campsite, which is the perfect place for you to find some rest with the gently cascading water falling over the rocks. The campsite has a view of a spring-fed creek, plus a nice area with a table, chairs and a fire pit. If you enjoy being surrounded by nature like birds, deer, turkey and the bright, twinkling stars, while sleeping in a comfortable RV or tent, then look no further! Please know that there is no electrical hookup, but there is a clean portable restroom at this location, and you'll have access to spring water flowing directly out of a pipe in two locations. On the driveway into Peaceful Hills Retreat, you will see spring water continually flowing out of a white pipe in a rock. The second location for fresh spring water is directly above the campsite and this pipe is about six feet high, which is ideal for taking a very cold outdoor shower! Creek shoes recommended. Come experience nature at this remote location. We would be delighted to host your stay! Why Should You Choose Peaceful Hills Retreat? Looking for the perfect getaway, you will find some peace and quiet here. Only 14.6 miles from I-40 and located on 97 acres, this campground is surrounded by nature, very secluded and private. There is a crystal-clear creek that runs parallel with the driveway and fresh spring water flowing from pipe in the rock close to the entrance on American Way. The creek is bio-diverse, filled with fascinating species, and spring fed, which means it stays cool in the summertime. There are three beautiful B&B homes which are able to be rented out. You can book the entire home for a very reasonable price. The A-frame log cabin at the top of the hill is called the lodge. The second home, which is a two-story brown log cabin, is where the host lives. The third home is the cottage. Long before these three homes were built, native Indians lived in these beautiful rolling hills and we have found many arrowheads right around the homes on this property. This is a special place, and we are happy to share it with you. How The Hosting Adventure Began
Peaceful Hills, a family owned business, started in May of 2017. It all began when Jennifer’s brilliant brother booked a two-story home through Airbnb for Jennifer and the family for a week in the Carolinas. Their Airbnb vacation was a great experience, and she loved having a kitchen to cook in, while traveling with her large family. She gladly said goodbye to tiny hotel rooms. Linda and her daughter, Jennifer realized they desired to run a BnB, and watched the scattered pieces beautifully fall into place. While Jennifer’s family lived in the two-story Cabin, her mother, Linda, lived in the Lodge, while Linda’s mom, Ellen lived in the Cottage until one day she had a stroke and needed full-time care. Ellen moved to the Lodge where Linda lovingly cared for her mother. After some time, Linda suddenly had to be rushed to the hospital, so Jennifer’s family moved into the Lodge to help care for her grandma Ellen until she gently passed away in February of 2017. This opened up both the Cottage and the Cabin for guests. The Cabin was listed first on Airbnb in May 2017, then the Cottage, and eventually the Lodge. At each home you may read a special book called A Soldier’s Child Foundation (ASC). This life-changing, wonderful foundation near Nashville, serves children all over our great nation who have sadly lost a parent who served in our military. ASC tremendously helped Jennifer’s family after the loss of their military soldier and Peaceful Hills Retreat donates a portion of their profits to this amazing non-profit. A Soldier’s Child Foundation removed the shame and sadness from our loss, and replaced it with hope, honor.
