The position will be responsible for checking in guests, running reports, answering phones, making reservations, accommodating guests and any other job duties assigned. This position will require working weekends. Prior hotel experience preferred but not required. Knowledge of Opera is also a plus! Please apply in person.

Job Summary:

This position requires an early riser who has experience with food preparation and presentation. It is imperative that this person is punctual and dependable. The primary responsibility is preparing, setting up, breaking down, and restocking of the hot breakfast. This position requires multitasking abilities and ability to effectively communicate with guests regarding breakfast offerings and basic hotel information. High quality of service is the emphasis.

Essential Job Duties I:

Responsible for the smooth running, cost-effective and efficient operation of the complimentary hotel breakfast.
Providing personalized service to all guests.
Listening and responding to guests' requests or complaints.
Setting up and maintaining the Breakfast in an attractive, abundant-looking, and organized presentation.
Taking inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day.
Preparing and stocking foods, beverages and supplies.
Continually clearing and cleaning breakfast area during hours of operation.
Closing duties including but not limited to removing trash, washing dishes and returning those to designated storage areas.
Returning reusable food supplies to storage and cleaning the entire breakfast area.
Maintains strict confidentiality of all information including but not limited to guests, employees and financial reports both within and outside the hotel.
Maintains communication with Guest Service Representatives, and GSM resulting in a seamless guest experience.
Solves operational challenges as they arise, functioning as a “trouble shooter” to resolve potential problems before they have a negative effect on the operations of the hotel.
Manages a safe work environment to ensure minimal risk of losses to staff and guest accidents.
Other duties as required.
