The Bed and Breakfast at Peace Hill, right at the center of historic Charles City County, is an award-winning inn located at the crossroads of Virginia’s most historic sites. Perched on a slope overlooking working farmlands and mature timber, the Bed and Breakfast occupies a turn-of-the-century farmhouse on the hundred-acre Peace Hill Farm. The Bed and Breakfast offers private, luxurious rooms and

suites and a full country breakfast using local, fresh ingredients. A stone’s throw from Charles City historic sites and just a short drive from historic Williamsburg and Yorktown to the east and Civil War-era Richmond, the Bed and Breakfast at Peace Hill is the perfect place to explore the past, reconnect with nature, or just relax in restful surroundings.

Piglet update! Eight of them have gone to nice new homes, but these three will stay on the farm. They're still a little suspicious of us, but they're very interested in the grain we bring with us!

Just a couple of June vignettes from our Bed & Breakfast--spectacular hydrangeas at the front of the historic B&B, and an adventuresome hen who has made her way up from the coop in the pastures to stake out her place at the back door!

Our final Sunday Lunch of the spring was delightful, despite the warm temps--the Great Barn was cool and pleasant, our beef tongue appetizer and almond pound cake dessert were huge hits, and the wine flowed!

Our fall Sunday Lunch dates are September 13, October 4, and October 24. Book online through OpenTable (choose the 1 PM experience), or give us a call!

We're particularly excited about our menu for this weekend's last Sunday Lunch in the spring series! The pairings are adventurous, and the produce and meats are fresh. The temperatures are a bit on the warm side, so we'll probably be inside our Great Barn (those nineteenth-century builders knew what they were doing--it stays warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer). A few tickets are still available, so come join us--we'd love to see you!
