A FEW SEATS HAVE BEEN ADDED for Spirits of the Lowcountry next Thursday, October 29. Call 843-853-7828 to reserve! 👻

Join us at Circa 1886 for an evening where Charleston’s past comes to life through storytelling and food. Longtime friend and professional storyteller Tim Lowry will draw from the haunting and lyrical tales of The Doctor to the Dead by Charleston Renaissance author John Bennett, sharing stories shaped by African and Gullah Geechee traditions and passed down through generations.

The evening unfolds over a four-course dinner by Chef Marc Collins, from Butternut Squash with cornbread, chèvre, and yellow curry glaze to Bone-In Short Rib and Banana Bread Pudding with butter pecan ice cream.

Thursday, October 29 | 6:30 & 7:00 pm seatings

🎉 We are excited to announce the addition of Executive Pastry Chef Perla Anguiano to Circa 1886 Restaurant.

Perla brings more than a decade of pastry experience to Circa 1886, most recently serving as Executive Pastry Chef of Restaurants at Sun Valley Resort in Idaho. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu’s Baking & Pastry Arts program in San Francisco, her pastry style blends classical French technique with seasonal ingredients and influences from her Hispanic heritage.

Working alongside Executive Chef Marc Collins, Perla will bring her creativity and thoughtful approach to the Circa 1886 pastry program, crafting desserts designed to be a memorable part of the dining experience.
