Camp Virgil Tate

Camp Virgil Tate Camp and Conference Center Camp Virgil Tate includes over 400 beautiful acres just 30 minutes from Downtown Charleston, West Virginia.

Available for outside group rental, Camp Tate is open year-round for meetings, retreats, and camps for all ages! The camp features four cottages, a motel-style lodge, and dining hall with several meeting rooms. Four barns and two show rings are available for horse camps and equestrian events.

We want to send out a big THANK YOU to LeAnne Call, T & M Meats, Call's Meat Market, and Corey Brothers Produce Company for providing local food for all of our campers! Through the month of June we served almost 500 4H campers the best meal they can get! HOW HOW!

It's June....and that means CAMP SEASON is here!:) The CVT grounds will be closed to the public until July 1st to ensure a safe space for our campers. If you are a parent bringing your child to camp - please drive SLOWLY on Camp Virgil Tate Rd. to help ensure a safe neighborhood for all the kids, pets, and grown ups that call it home.
