Excited to partner with The Tyler Creek Farm & Mini Mercantile to share some HOT peppers from our hightunnel! You can sign up to be a mercantile customer from their FB page;) Check out thier social media pages and tell them thanks for supporting our community and CVT - or better yet, sign up to be a merchantile customer!

Tyler Creek Farm was settled by Thomas and Matilda Figgatt in 1780 and is still in the family nine generations later. Our Mini Mercantile farm stand carries on that legacy with fresh provisions, handmade goods, and the things we grow, bake, and create.

Yesterday, for the United Way Day of Caring, we had a group of volunteers from CAMC come out to help with some much needed projects! Painting picnic tables, cleaning out and planting new flowers around the bell and at the lodge, putting wire around the trees, and cleaning out our play shed! We are so thankful for this wonderful group of volunteers!

We want to send out a big THANK YOU to LeAnne Call, T & M Meats, Call's Meat Market, and Corey Brothers Produce Company for providing local food for all of our campers! Through the month of June we served almost 500 4H campers the best meal they can get! HOW HOW!

It's June....and that means CAMP SEASON is here!:) The CVT grounds will be closed to the public until July 1st to ensure a safe space for our campers. If you are a parent bringing your child to camp - please drive SLOWLY on Camp Virgil Tate Rd. to help ensure a safe neighborhood for all the kids, pets, and grown ups that call it home.
