The world lost a good one last week. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Bailey family. RIP Rod.

We said goodbye to great man and a father to many. Rod was at home at the ranch surrounded by his boys, horses, dogs and closest loved ones. A man who lived many lives and was instrumental in changing so many more. The mountains at home won't quite look the same. He taught us all what true masculinity was: Always show up for those in need, work hard, stay strong, be kind, show vulnerability when needed and treat others how we would treat each other. We never left the house without him telling us he loved us and that he was proud of us.

A celebration of life will be organized to honor the old man's memory later in the year. For now take peace in your fun memories of Rod and his unique sense of humour. Wherever you are in the world raise a glass and cheers Dad, as we all know he's looking down and making sure we keep pushing through.

Hey there, we are on the hunt for old, forgotten oars lurking in garages, sheds or basements. The dustier and more beat up, the better. They don't have to row anywhere ever again. Got any taking up space? Drop me a pic, message, or drop them off at the Lodge. Your old paddle could finally get the spotlight it deserves instead of propping up a tarp.
