Centrally located in Cheboygan Michigan, we're 15 minutes off I-75, 20 minutes from Mackinaw City & Mackinaw Island ferries and 40 minutes from Petoskey / Harbor City area. We have two very clean, modern and well appointed cottages that are within *Dutch Village Resort located on the northeast shores of Mullett Lake, about midway along the famous 45 mile Inland Waterway. You can enjoy boating, s
ailing, kayaking, fishing or swimming in the crystal clear water or just relax on our 4 acres of manicured lawns. Amenities include 208’ of clean beach front, tether ball, children's play area, community fire pit, cedar lawn swings, 14’ rowboat, paddle boat, 100’ dock w/ 2 lounging patios, boat moorings and GORGEOUS SUNSETS. The lake bottom is firm, clean and sandy ~ there are no drop offs so it is very safe for kids! We are situated in a very serene, quiet location on Dutch Village Lane in a rural lakefront community. Our community is on a very quiet paved road ~ perfect for the walkers, runners, bladers or bikers in your family. We are very proud of cottages. We were able to preserve the nostalgic “up north” feel of the knotty pine interiors and screened-in summer porches, while providing you with the modern conveniences of home. Both of these 2 bedroom cottages have sofa sleepers and will accommodate 6 people comfortably. Each cottage has pillows & blankets, cable TV, charcoal grill, picnic table and porch furniture. Kitchens are fully equipped with coffee makers, microwaves, toasters, pots & pans, dishes and utensils. We typically rent weekly in season - Saturday to Saturday. However, we do our best to accommodate those with varying vacation plans. Check-in is at 2:00 p.m. and check-out is 10:00 a.m. The cottages are non-smoking. For everyone’s safety, no pets are allowed on resort grounds.
*Dutch Village Resort, (formerly William's Resort) remains the most popular family vacation spot on beautiful Mullett Lake, once completely owned and operated by the Hansen family. The resort is now an association with 8 of the 10 cottages on the 4 acre property owned by private owners. We, the Hansens, still own and rent 2 of these cottages as we always have - Cottage #3 and Cottage #5.
