Proud of our community 💕 Such a great back to school event!

We are so proud to be part of a community that supports its kids!

Local barbers and cosmetologists are donating their time and skills for their 3rd Annual Free Back to School Cuts!

Families can enjoy food while they wait, and students can receive supplies after their haircut.

Big shoutout to The Taco Bandit for being the star during our family reunion this weekend! Wow, we loved it! Veronica and her team made the big gathering so easy and wonderful. We cannot recommend them enough for events. You can also grab food from their spot in Checotah!

We highly recommend The Taco Bandit for your next event! Their truck came for our family reunion last night and made the event wonderful and easy! Veronica and her team and so great and we are glad they’re in the community 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Fun weekend ahead in downtown Checotah!

This Saturday, Checotah celebrates 60 years of Old Settlers Day!
Over 50 vendors, food, games, kids activities, a parade, rodeo, live music, fireworks, and neighbors from all across Oklahoma coming together in downtown Checotah.
Bring your family. Bring your lawn chairs. Bring your appetite.
Let's make this the biggest Old Settlers Day, and one to remember.

We are open normal hours this week (Tuesday, Oct. 28th -Saturday, October 31st, 9am-4:30pm)!

But we are quickly approaching our reenactment week! So, we wanted to give you a heads up that our hours will look a little different November 4th-11th.
