Lake Simtustus Resort, Pelton Park Marina, Dockside Grill, and the lake are 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘀 𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹.

With evacuation orders now lifted, 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻, and guests can once again enjoy everything Lake Simtustus has to offer—from boating and fishing to relaxing on the water.

We’ve also received many questions about air quality. We’re Reopening!

We have exciting news!

Lake Simtustus Resort is reopening following the reduction of the evacuation level to Level 2 (Be Set). We are grateful to the firefighters, emergency responders, incident management teams, local, tribal, state, and federal agencies, PGE, and everyone who worked tirelessly to protect our community.

The best news of all is that Lake Simtustus Resort, Pelton Park Marina, and Dockside Grill sustained no fire damage. Our team has been hard at work preparing the property, and we’re excited to welcome guests back.

Current Reopening Schedule

Opening Now: Lake Simtustus Resort
(We expect evacuation statuses will continue to improve and will share updates as they become available.)

Wednesday: Pelton Park Marina reopens, including the marina store and boat rentals. AND Dockside Grill!

Guests returning to the resort are encouraged to use the north entrance.

We appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and support during this challenging time. Your encouragement has meant a great deal to our team.

𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘁𝘂𝘀𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁 & 𝗣𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮:
We’re grateful for all of the messages, support, and patience from our guests and community over the past several days.

We’re encouraged by the progress being made on the Bench Fire and are happy to share that Lake Simtustus Resort has not sustained any fire damage. Our team has been hard at work cleaning, preparing accommodations, and getting everything ready to welcome everyone back.

At this time, we’re still awaiting final approval from emergency officials before evacuation orders are lifted and we can safely reopen. As soon as we receive the all-clear, we’ll immediately announce reopening dates for 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘁𝘂𝘀𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁, 𝗣𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹.

Due to evacuation orders related to the Bench Fire, 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘁𝘂𝘀𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁, 𝗣𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱.
