Oconaluftee Indian Village opens next week! Book your tickets now!

A ticket to Oconaluftee Indian Village gets you a full day of access to the Village, including a guided tour. Traditional crafts are being demonstrated all day long, and dance demonstrations take place twice a day. Don't miss our two info sessions - one in the square grounds about the seven clans and one in the council house about Cherokee government. On your way out, pick out a unique souvenir from our gift shop

Oconaluftee Indian Village is open April 22nd through November 1st, from 9:30am to 5:30pm. Last entry at 4:30pm. Closed on Sundays and select Mondays. Free admission for children 5 and under. Group rates available

Spend the weekend with the new exhibition 'sov·er·eign·ty: Expressions in Sovereignty of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians,' on view at The Museum of the Cherokee People through February 28, 2025.

The Museum's former main exhibition (1998-2023) remains closed until further notice as we take the first steps toward a major renovation. During this exciting time of transition, we have adjusted our admission pricing:
