Do you love the outdoors and enjoy helping people? Our small, family-friendly campground is looking for a responsible and trustworthy Campground Caretaker to join our team.
Location: Cherokee Alabama
Start Date: September 1, 2025
Position Type: [Year-round]

Current Compensation:
Free campsite/RV hookup includes water and sewer. Electric and Internet at your cost.
Future Compensation: (as we grow)
Monthly stipend + possible hourly wage as duties increase.

Current Responsibilities:
• Perform light maintenance: mowing and w**d whipping
• Monitor campground activity to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.l
• Greet and assist campers with check-in/check-out

Future Responsibilities:
• Clean [future] restrooms and common areas regularly
• Clean and turn over [future] glamping tents

Ideal Candidate:
• Friendly, reliable, and proactive
• Able to work independently with good problem-solving skills
• Basic handyman/maintenance knowledge a plus
• Must pass background check and have reliable transportation

Welcome to our mini campground and retreat. We are on Riverton Rose Trail tucked away from the hustle and bustle but just 20 minutes from town. Currently we have 2 sites available for month to month rentals that include water and septic. Each site has separate mailing address with mailbox.

Built a landing with a ramp for our long term campers who needed an easier way to get in and out. Glad we could help you out Suzzane and Joe

Welcome to our mini campground and retreat. We are on Riverton Rose Trail tucked away from the hustle and bustle but just 20 minutes from town. 2 public boat ramps are within 15 minutes and we have parking on site for your boats. If hunting is your pastime we are just a 1/2 mile from Riverton Community Hunting Area. Currently we have 5 sites available for month to month rentals with full hookups and a separate mailing address with mailbox for each site.
