As our weather turns even more beautiful and our visitor numbers increase, please remember common sense trail etiquette.

As the sign states, bikers yield to hikers and horses, hikers yield to horses, and horses - well, they have the right of way over hikers and bikers.

⚠️ What does yielding look like? For everyone’s safety, if you’re hiking or biking, slow down or stop, stay still and off to the side if possible, and speak calmly. Often, the equestrian rider may just wave you by or move out of the way. Communication and kindness are key at Bogart Regional Park and we’re so glad you’re all here!

🚫Friday, April 17: Bogart’s day-use area and fishing pond are closed today to prepare for the cleanup event Saturday!
Join us Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 9 a.m. to noon for a park cleanup and bulky junk drop off!

Thanks to our partners at and we’ll be making Bogart Regional Park as beautiful as ever…by working together!
Community cleanup supplies will be provided and volunteers will be fed!
Plus, we’ll have big bins to fill up with your bulk items - come here to get rid of your stuff! (Nothing weird - no paints or chemicals - we just want your trash and green waste!)

Bogart Pond is closed for our trout fishing derby. It will reopen Monday, April 13.

The FISHING DERBY is THIS WEEKEND!�
Here’s what you NEED to know:

🔵 Adult Derby is sold out.
🟢We still have spots open in the two later divisions Saturday for the KIDS DERBY. You can STILL SIGN UP even if your age doesn’t match the age group.
🔴WE WILL NOT ACCEPT PAYMENTS AT THE EVENT. That means you must be paid by Thursday, April 9 in order to keep your spot and participate in the derby.
🟡This is a RAIN OR SHINE event! You are welcome to bring an umbrella to the event but Eazy Up style canopies at the water’s edge would get in the way of casting for the participants and we may ask you to move them.
🔴The fishing pond will be closed Thursday and Friday before the Derby to prepare for the event. Once the Kids Derby is over Saturday, the pond will remain closed to the public and no fishing will be allowed. After the Adult Derby concludes Sunday, DERBY PARTICIPANTS ONLY are invited to fish in the pond for the remainder of the day.
