Catch the Wind Couples Cottage Guest cottage on the Narraguagus River, Cherryfield, Maine Front room with living and dining areas. Deck has a small gas grill, table, chairs and umbrella.

Enjoy cozy, comfortable accommodations while you explore our corner of Downeast, just 100 yards from the Narraguagus River. Large bedroom with queen bed, sitting area and small nook with desk/vanity table. Kitchen with gas stove/oven, small refrigerator and coffee bar. Bathroom has a tiny shower, a Cinderella incinerator toilet, and sink. Available Thursday-Sunday nights, with a 3 night minimum at $150 per night. The 4th night is half price.

Summer is in full swing! The weather has been overwhelmingly terrific for outdoor activities (we could use more rain for the gardens and wells). There are concerts to attend, beaches to visit, trails to hike and so many great Downeast foods to taste and enjoy. Have you seen the espresso and sandwich menu at The Paisley Loon, the flaky pastries at La Laiterie, or the pizza and brunch menus at Tunk Joy Bakery? We have a couple weekends in August still available for visitors and no one has booked any of the several fall (leaf peeping) weekends yet. Maybe it’s time to plan a long weekend in Downeast Maine.

Hoping to visit Downeast Maine this summer or fall? Presently, we are into spring and the flowers are blooming and the trees are filling out in beautiful greens and purples (red maples). The rivers are running and the fish are nearly done with the spring migration runs. The eagles and osprey are still fishing the remnants from overhead and their calls can be heard throughout the day. Book your weekend or long weekend at our cottage, or somewhere along the coast, so you don’t miss out on the adventures Downeast.

Maybe it’s time to plan your 2026 vacation to Downeast Maine? Kayak or canoe trip on the Narraguagus River or along the Bold Voadt, hiking the trails of Acadia National Park or surrounding areas, lobster bake/boil at the cottage? Make sure your friends and family know about our cottage. We also have a two bedroom cabin available by the week or longer, situated on a tidal inlet in nearby Milbridge, Maine.
