Look at all the loons frolicking in front of the resort! I’ve never seen this many loons gathered in one place. I’m lucky if I see 2 together. Pretty cool!

Lake days aren’t always about fishing or swimming… sometimes they’re about slowing down. 🎨🍄

Julie and her family spent a couple of hours by the lake painting these adorable cement mushrooms—talking, laughing, and simply enjoying time together. Each one turned out completely unique, and they were kind enough to gift us two for Sunny Pines! 🍄🎨

It’s moments like these that remind us why family vacations at the lake are so special. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us! 💜🌲

A huge thank you to Andy for being such a fantastic guide and making sure everyone had an unforgettable day. The fish were biting, the laughter never stopped, and memories were made from sunrise to sunset.

The only problem? While everyone else got to fish all day, Karen had to stay behind and actually work! 😂 She finally escaped around 5:00 p.m. to join the fun—just in time to hear about all the fish everyone else had been catching. No worries, she was able to catch a few nice ones!

Thanks again, Andy, for a great day!

🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July from all of us at Sunny Pines Resort! ❤️🤍💙

Today we celebrate the freedoms we enjoy, the beauty of our great country, and the simple joys of summer—days on the lake, campfires under the stars, family traditions, and making memories that last a lifetime.

This little firecracker reminds us that the best part of the Fourth isn’t just the fireworks… it’s seeing the world through the eyes of our children and grandchildren. Their excitement, laughter, and wonder make the holiday even more special.

We hope your day is filled with sunshine, safe travels, great food, time with loved ones, and plenty of red, white, and blue!

From our Sunny Pines family to yours, Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸✨

A little excitement this week at the resort with a tagged fish caught. Larry earned himself $50 for this beauty. Tagged fish was sponsored by Walleyes for Chetek. Nice job Larry and thank you Walleyes for Chetek!
