What a wonderful ending to the Chetek Farmers Market’s 10th summer at The Pine Lodge Shop! 🍂

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Fall Market Finale. To the vendors who showed up Saturday after Saturday through 16 markets, and to the customers who kept coming back to support them: you made this season special.

Our passport grand prize winner was Linda Whitmore, who collected 15 stamps—every stamp but one! Linda won a whole pig generously donated by Go Broke Farms of Chetek, along with a $200 processing credit at Almena Meats. Go Broke Farms has been with us every Saturday with their farm fresh meats. Please give them a follow on Facebook and check out their website! Thank you to Go Broke Farms, The Pine Lodge Shop, and Chetek Farmers Market for making this prize possible.

Eryn Boese won our second passport drawing with 13 stamps. It was especially fun to see both winners there to receive their prizes after supporting the market all summer!

We had some great contest winners, too:

🌽 Adult candy corn guess: Dave Louis guessed 1,370. The jar held 1,395!

🎃 Adult pumpkin weight: Rachel Santi guessed 60 pounds. The pumpkin weighed 60.6 pounds!

🌽 Kids’ candy corn guess: Logan Janney

🎃 Kids’ pumpkin weight guess: Allie Nicolai

Our vendors brought so much creativity to the booth and scarecrow contests! Chetek Maples–Rod Flug Farms won Best Scarecrow with Herman, who clearly loved his maple syrup. Cards by Georgie at booth J won Best Decorated Booth—you may remember Bo the dog and her granddaughter dressed as the sheriff! Second place went to Shelley, the purple and pink scarecrow at OH! G.’s Accessories, and to the Island City Sips trailer for Best Decorated Booth.

A definite honorable mention to The Cottage Kitchen for its Harry Potter theme. Every vendor who decorated put so much work into it, and I loved seeing what you created. Thank you all! ❤️

Bring the passport you’ve carried all summer to our Fall Market Finale and turn it in before noon. We’ll draw the winner shortly after 12 p.m.!

🐖 The grand prize is a whole pig sponsored by Go Broke Farms, plus $200 toward processing at Almena Meats, sponsored by The Pine Lodge Shop and Chetek Farmers Market.

To qualify for the grand prize, you need at least 8 market stamps plus the bonus stamps from The Pine Lodge Shop and Endless Lasting Links. You must be present to win the grand prize.

Don’t have all the required stamps? Bring your passport anyway! We’ll have another prize drawing, plus prizes for the passports with the most stamps. You could even win twice! 🍂
