The US State Department recommends that you avoid travel to Egypt due to ongoing social unrest. On Jan. 30, the Department of State said violent demonstrations have occurred in several areas of Cairo, Alexandria and other parts of the country, disrupting road travel between city centers and in communications, including Internet service.

Ghosts and Gumbo Halloween Weekend, New Orleans

October 28-31st

We'll stay in the French Quarter, take a class at the New Orleans cooking school, and tour the famous St. Louis cemetery. We'll nosh on beignets, gumbo, crawfish, po-boys and more! We'll tour the gorgeous Garden District, the Jazz District and the 9th Ward. And we'll don our Halloween Costumes and join the revelry on Bourbon Street.

San Francisco/Sonoma Wine Country

May 11th-14th

Our relaxing long weekend starts with a fabulous dinner and overnight stay in salty San Francisco, then we travel to Sonoma, California (Napa Valley's charming little sister.) We'll eat incredible food, tour famous wineries, ride the Wine Train through the heart of the region, and stay at a charming country inn. We'll have ample time to shop, explore and relax!
