Gone but not forgotten. Until we meet again...

Repost from our Owner

Life changed in so many ways in 2020 and brought many challenges. I am proud of how we dealt with the uncertainty and were able to make some very difficult decisions.

–Gone but not forgotten. I’m so proud of what we created! A heartfelt thank you to all of our employees, community partners, and, most importantly, our guests who supported St. Jane Hotel over the years. We could not have done it without you. We hope to see you soon…

-We are working on a reopening plan! Stay tuned.

– Because of COVID restrictions we were unable to have our annual Ping Pong Ball which historically raises a significant portion of our annual funds. With that, we still provided over 87,600 days of parking to over 2,000 NICU babies and their families, and over 5,000 medical masks to NICU families in 2020!

The challenges and opportunities also set the path for our newest venture- . Neon Fringey, combines our hospitality expertise, design & branding experience, along with our love and knowledge of travel. Follow along as we renovate and brand our newest acquisition, a 7-bedroom seaside villa tucked away in Oracabessa, on Jamaica’s picturesque north coast. Set on four acres of lush tropical vegetation with a nearly constant tropical breeze, will be the perfect destination for post COVID traveling. The property is the ideal setting for small intimate groups and will offer casual Jamaican luxury and a modern eclectic design. Booking in 2022. Come visit!

Behind the scenes look at Queen Of Tape creating her piece for St. Jane which is now located right off of our lobby in The Gate. The talented Anna Dominguez is a Chicago native who creates artwork only using tape!

One of our most photographed views from our guests is overlooking the DuSable Bridge over the Chicago River on Michigan Ave, which turns 100 today. We’re grateful for growing alongside this historic city✨

How to (virtually) visit the Chicago Architecture Center, Shedd Aquarium, museums, zoos, & more while you're "sheltering in place" at home. https://bit.ly/2UNMHVW via The Magnificent Mile

While residents "shelter in place," Chicago's cultural institutions are providing you access online and via social media, and we are thrilled to share our recommendations along The Magnificent Mile.

Defining Chicago’s past, present & future

The landmark Art Deco champagne bottle building. Before you know its name, you know its image. The Carbide and Carbon building on Michigan Avenue was completed in 1929 by the Burnham Brothers, sons of the famed Chicago architect Daniel Burnham. Perhaps, as legend says, it really was designed to flout Prohibition, but this bold, playful spirit is now the home of St. Jane.

With our name we look to Jane Addams, a legendary Chicagoan, founder of Hull House, social activist, philosopher, innovator and instigator. In honor of her work championing families and a better life for all, a percentage of revenue will go to the Jackson Chance Foundation, supporting families with babies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
