Saturday 6/6/26, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm NSST was distributing our best Field Report ever! Just outside the Farmers Market's northeast corner, just past the porta-potties. Stop by and set a spell. : ) You might get to see the man in black! Next Saturday we will be back inside the FMRS MKT at our usual booth.

Have a cleaner/safer downtown and reduced use of emergency services/taxpayer savings: If enough people (you) contact our City Council, and ask that they move to direct Staff to meet with NSST; use State Statute 8698; pick one of our 4 proposed locations and we could have our Safe Spot Community (that is based on the successful experience in other towns) of 4 tiny homes operational before winter. Hi Friends, North State Shelter Team was doing our regular booth inside the Farmers Market 5/30/26 on their northeast corner; Handing out the latest scuttlbutt from our best Field Report ever!

NSST provided 18 showers today at the corner of Eaton and Cohasset Rds for our Friday mobile showers event. Less despair makes our streets safer. After the first shower in a month a person came out of their shower stall and said, "It's like heaven!"

Tuesday, Tiffany of Safe Space and Charles of North State Shelter Team got Colleen a bed delivered to her new apartment in Paradise. Colleen had lived unsheltered in Chico for 11 years.

Starting at 10 am Sunday 5/17/26 North State Shelter Team did a mobile showers event at the SCCAC 1805 Park Ave. Chico. We provided 13 showers for our neighbors who are expected to live w/o a bathroom. Write your City Councilor.

Friday 5/15/26 NSST Mobile Showers rig was at the southwest corner of Eaton & Cohasset Roads providing showers for our neighbors living without a bathroom.
