Irvin Trujillo finished a new weaving recently!
Irvin described the design in this piece representing making choices, that with everything in life is a choice must be made. Things are not always black or white, but there are often two choices at any given moment where you must decide: "you do or you don't". Which reminded us of the quote:
"Do or do not. There is no try." Yoda, Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back

"I don't typically take the time to write reviews, but this charming bed and breakfast, Casa Escondida Bed & Breakfast in Chimayo, NM was simply too wonderful not to share!

We were lucky enough to stay in the Vista Room, and what a treat it was! The room itself was absolutely adorable — cozy, well-appointed, and immaculately kept. The highlight, however, was the gorgeous balcony, which offered plenty of space to relax and soak in the breathtaking starry night. The stargazing here is amazing! Being just far enough from the city, the night sky was absolutely stunning. Despite feeling like a peaceful retreat, you are still just minutes away from the historic and holy, El Santuario de Chimayó, making it just perfect.

Now let's talk breakfast — what an absolute delight! The chef personally stopped by our table to walk us through the thoughtful care and ingredients that went into crafting our morning meal. That personal touch made it so much more special and truly elevated the entire dining experience. I am very particular about my coffee, and I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised by how exceptional it was.

This B&B truly checked every box — charm, location, food, and hospitality. We will be back again on our next visit and will absolutely be booking the Vista Room!

Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Taos- Chimayó area!
