THROWBACK THURSDAY to where it all began ♥️These memories are the inspiration behind us falling in love with Chincoteague — the wild ponies, the peaceful charm of the island, and the feeling that this special place instantly felt like home. One of these treasured moments captures our daughter sitting beside the fence with a recovering young Chincoteague pony named Katet… a memory that still holds our hearts today. 🐴🥰

Katet is now happily retired and living off-island at Stoney Stoney Creek Chincoteagues, but the memories remain so special to us. We’ve now owned our Chincoteague home for four wonderful years, immensely enjoying the peaceful island life, the coming and going of our Chincoteague pony “neighbors,” and being able to share this little piece of paradise with our renters along the way. 💛🐴
