Nana was the epitome of everything the Refuge Inn has been and everything we hope it will always be.

Ask anyone who knew her and they’ll have a story about the way she welcomed guests, the way she made everyone feel at home, or how the people who worked alongside her at the motel quickly became family. Her kindness and genuine care for people became part of the Refuge itself, and all these years later, you can still feel it here.

We’re so lucky that her legacy lives on here, and even luckier to have had her example to follow. We should all strive to be a little more like Nana.
