The famous CHINCOTEAGUE VOLUNTEER FIRE CO. opens on June 2nd this year and we are open for a July 4th weekly or longer stay! Chincoteague has an old-fashioned 4th of July with a sweet parade and fireworks on the 4th, so come make some memories.

Our peak Summer rate $400 a night plus tax and cleaning applies to July 4th. No pet or service fees here.
Dog owners, we are on the other side of the Island from the fireworks. It's 2.5 miles away and our dogs don't hear the fireworks where we are.
We also have availability for the second Carnival dates on July 10th and 11th.

We are grateful for Cowboy Cruise Company and their great videos. They nailed it with this great Foal Season video! We are up to 4, But those foals are going to be popping like popcorn soon. May is statistically the month with the most foals born, but April and June have lots of foals too.
It's our favorite time of year. ✌💖🐎😔

Cowboy Cruise Company nailed it.

There's a beautiful beach on the Refuge, but this isn't a beach town.
Chincoteague gets more modern every year, but it's light years away from any beach town. It's more country than beach.
When you want an experience that's completely different, Chincoteague is what's calling.

Spring News!!!! Foal #2 is on the ground out of the wonderful Ken & Dreamer's Gift. 💖 The marsh is buzzing because Molly and Flower are with Beach Boy! Yessss! And Pico Taqueria is opening this weekend!
It is definitely Spring on Chincoteague. ✌💖🐎

Chincoteague is waking up for Spring 2026! The first foal is here and the Foal Patrol watch is underway. The Museum of Chincoteague Island opens this weekend, and the Beebe Ranch opens on the 10h. Pony tours are underway with Cowboy Cruise Company and Captain Dans Around the Island Tours starts April 1st, and others are gearing up or in the water. The restaurants and food trucks are opening and the excitement of Spring on Chincoteague is in the air. ✌💖🐎
