What an absolutely INCREDIBLE weekend here in Chippewa Falls.

For the last few days our hotel has been filled with music lovers, road trippers, festival crews, glitter, kandi bracelets, bass drops, laughter, late-night pizza runs, and enough positive energy to power Wisconsin for at least the next six months. 😂✨

From the moment guests started arriving Thursday until the final sleepy checkout this morning, the excitement surrounding Force Fields was impossible to miss. You brought amazing vibes, unforgettable outfits, kindness, patience, and so many fun conversations to our little corner of the world.

To everyone who stayed with us:
THANK YOU for making this weekend so special. 💜

We loved hearing about your favorite sets, seeing your festival gear, helping with snack emergencies, handing out extra towels after long nights, and watching complete strangers become friends over music.

And honestly?
There is something pretty magical about seeing people come from all over the country to one small Wisconsin town for a weekend built around music, connection, and pure happiness. ⚡🎶

Our staff may need approximately 47 business days to recover 😂… but we would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

Safe travels home to all of our Force Fields Festers. We hope your playlists stay loud, your memories stay bright, and your post-festival sadness is cured with lots of snacks and naps.

✨ Yesterday, I had the distinct honor of attending the ribbon cutting for the new LSS L.E. Phillips Center in Chippewa Falls. ✨

Walking through those doors, you could feel it. This wasn't just the opening of a building. It was the return of something our community has desperately needed.

When the former Libertas facility closed, it left a tremendous gap in mental health and addiction recovery services across the Chippewa Valley. Now, thanks to the dedication of Lutheran Social Services and countless community partners, that gap is being filled once again with a treatment center focused on healing, recovery, and second chances.

Their motto says it all:

You can.
You are.
You will.

Three simple statements that carry so much power for those fighting some of life's hardest battles.

For me, this center represents something bigger than bricks and mortar. It represents hope. It represents possibility. It represents a community that refuses to give up on its people.

The Chippewa Valley needed this. Families needed this. Individuals searching for a path forward needed this.

Hope has been brought back to our community, and I cannot wait to see the lives that will be changed within these walls in the years ahead.

Congratulations to everyone who made this vision a reality. The future is brighter today because of your work.

Jeanene has been hard at work bringing CHIP to life and we are officially obsessed with the progress so far. 🤍🏨

From a tiny idea to an actual little hotel legend standing there with his luggage cart and room keys in hand… this has been so fun to watch come together. The detail on his beard, coat, hat, and even the little luggage cart is incredible.

Honestly, CHIP already looks like he’s about to remind someone that breakfast starts at 6:00 a.m. and quiet hours begin at 10. 😂

We cannot wait to see the finished version and all the adventures this tiny concierge gnome is going to have around the hotel. Huge shoutout to Jeanene for the patience, creativity, and talent going into this project. 🩵
