✨ A little piece of Redhead Cottage just got even cozier.

Our charming new backyard fence is officially up, making it even easier for you (and your four-legged travel buddy 🐾) to enjoy slow mornings with coffee, afternoon sunshine, and quiet evenings under the Minnesota sky.

Next up: landscaping! 🌿

Mother Nature has had a few plans of her own this summer, so we’re taking things one project at a time—just like caretakers of a 100-year-old cottage have always done. Over the next month or so, we’ll be adding more hardscaping and outdoor touches that honor the home’s history while making it even more welcoming for today’s guests.

The cottage keeps getting a little sweeter with every season, and we can’t wait to share each update with you.

A few little changes are happening outside at Redhead Cottage this summer ✨

Like all outdoor projects in Minnesota… construction season is basically a race against the weather (and scheduled between guest stays 😅).

Over the next month, guests may notice a few exterior updates designed to make the outdoor spaces even more cozy, functional, and cottage-like. 🏡

So far:
• Fresh paint on the front screen door & the deck
• Trim painting coming next
• New flowers + landscaping planned
• A fenced backyard area in the works for fire pit nights under the northern Minnesota sky 🔥

We love slowly bringing this little historic cottage to life while still preserving its original character and charm.

Including keeping the original 115 year old red brick.
