The Farmstand is a truly unique property, combining a Bed and Breakfast, seasonal farmstand and a restored barn for special events, weddings and concerts. Built in the mid 1800's, the home was originally a blacksmith shop in the center of Tamworth NH, and moved to it's present location adjacent to the Chocorua River and Dam, in 1851. There are 4 guest rooms, sharing 2 full baths, and lodging includes a full breakfast made with locally sourced ingredients from area farms. In -season, The Farmstand's gardens provide an array of organically grown fresh produce, and in the fall, apples from the orchard are pressed into fresh c***r, in the c***r house. A 250 tree sugarbush on the property provides sweet maple syrup. In summer, the recently restored barn at The Farmstand provides a picture perfect setting for special events, weddings and concerts.

A candlelight dinner for 4 at The Farmstand was the first donation awarded by a heads or tails raffle at tonight's Green Mt Conservation Group event, Raise A Glass to Clean Water. Everyone standing in the pic were hoping to win by guessing if each coin flip by George Cleveland was heads or tails.

I think we've got 8 tickets left for our last show of the season with Ellis Paul tonight, and due to the weather, we will not be offering lawn seats when those are gone. To send us off in style, I'm pulling out my New Orleans menu with foods you'd find at Jazzfest, including red beans and rice, jambalaya, collard greens, creole chicken stew, Crawfish Monica (think lobster mac and cheese, but with real Louisiana crawfish tails) and a grilled andouille sausage poboy.
We've got plenty of dining space under cover, including our porch, dining room and 2 tents that we'll have some tables in. Doors are at 6pm as always, with the food available for purchase until Ellis hits the stage at 7pm. For you first timers, our shows are BYOB. See you tonight, as we close out our 10th season of music in the barn.

Get EXCIDERED! Our first pressing since 2023, a blend of Macs, Macouns, Snows and Whitney Crab Apple, all from our organic orchard, (we don't spray}. Folks coming to the Sarah Borges show tomorrow will get the first crack at purchasing, any remaining will be available on Monday.
