Founded in 1957 as Angler's Motel and Marina, Outdoor Resorts of Chokoloskee is a family-operated business in the heart of the Everglades National Park and Ten Thousand Islands. We are located on the quaint island of Chokoloskee, which is approximately three-miles south of Everglades City, FL. In 1982, Outdoor Resorts of America developed the resort into a condominium RV resort, which allows peopl
e to purchase deeded lots in the resort and for the rental office to rent sites at the owner's request. For lodging, we have an eight unit motel each equipped with a kitchenette, two double beds, flat screen TV, private bathroom, and back deck. We also have two bedroom/two bathroom waterfront condos that overlook Chokoloskee Bay. If you would like to bring an RV, we have a world-class, 283 site RV Resort. Each site has full hook-up (50/30amp electric, water, sewer, and cable TV). In addition, we have three pools with hot tubs at each area, three bathhouses, two laundry facilities, fitness center, tennis courts, shuffle board courts, and free wifi all throughout the resort. If you would like to bring your boat with you, we have boat docks for each motel room and condo. Boat docks are available for the interior RV sites and each waterfront RV site has a dock directly at the site. If you want to come over with your boat for the day we have a full service marina and ramp. If you don't have a boat or don't want to bring your boat, we have rental boats and canoes on the premises. In addition, we have charter captains available if you would like a native, whose families have lived here for generations, to take you out on the boat for a wonderful day of fishing.
