Since Covid started in 2020 there has not been a Starlight Parade in Downtown Chula Vista. We are absolutely excited to have this spectacular event again. This banner you see has a photo of the last time El Primero Hotel was on the parade.

11.17: To our father, husband, grandpa, brother, cousin and friend, we wish you happy 81st birthday.

It’s been a long set of months and we have been missing you every second of them. You have not only meant a great deal to your family, but to the extended family you have built throughout your life. Whether it’s been via your hometown, schools, the military, the Filipino or San Diego community, or your most welcoming smile at our hotel, you have made a loving difference in each life you have encountered.

As your family and legacy, we will continue to celebrate and honor you with every passing day here at the hotel and beyond these walls. We love and miss you so much.

One more note: On behalf of the family, we would like to thank those who have reached out with adoration and sympathy for Pie. We are sending our hearts and support to you all, during this trying time.

Since Covid19 and my father Pie’s passing we have had to restructure our lives and the operations of the hotel.

I’m proud to announce the legacy of my father and his love for the hotel, that we are open!

We feel we are in the best place possible as a small hotel to protect our guest and our family. We have put in place many protective measures to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety.

So, keep us on mind if you have guest from out of town or just want to support a small business of love and family.

We look forward to seeing your friends and family at the El Primero if they are in need a place to stay.

I hope you will support our efforts in continuing my father’s legacy of love and the historic El Primero Hotel.
