Thank you all
Oh yeah, house keeping said they called me back, they never did! The employees don’t care that my daughters iPod was last pinged at that hotel
The GM has absolutely no respect! Do not stay at this hotel
Let me start by saying, I am not the ex-employee. I am just one who has listened to all the stories since the beginning, the one who has not been able to pay their bills because of the incompetency of the upper management, the one that sees how unprofessional this company is, management and team members alike. When my fiancé was hired on, he was promised 15 an hour as a maintenance technician. Which was right, on his first check. Though the pay rate was correct, they took 55% of his check for TAXES. So, they turned around, the next week, after all the bills were late, and issued him a "fixed" check... which was also wrong. They then, took out an additional $100 for taxes, state and federal, and then LOWERED his pay rate to 14.50. So, there we were missing at least $140. Then come the next week, he went to his boss and told him they were taking all of this extra money out in taxes, as well as his pay being lowered on that check. They assured him it was fixed, but then on his next check, the extra taxes were changed. They then decided to take out an extra 5% + $50, and the pay rate STILL wasn't fixed. He complained again. So, then they gave him retroactive pay, but only for the pay rate. They never fixed the taxes again. He spoke to his boss, his boss's boss, the HR manager, and no one could seem to get it together. So, every week he was employed at Holiday Inn in West Chester, they basically STOLE his money. They promised it would be fixed, and then check after check it was never right. It was never fixed. Fast forward, he was working in rooms, and was working with the housekeeping manager. She told him about her past, and the things she had done. She told him that 2 men were wanting to pay her to sleep with them, but they wanted to involve a dog (I am not kidding you), and so she decided not to. He told she would need a lot of money to do something like that. Where in turn, she responded with, "Oh, I don't that stuff at work." Insinuating that he wanted to sleep with her. He told her that is not what he meant. She was smoking her vape in the rooms, so he approached his boss and told him, because he did not want it to fall back on him when they realized someone was smoking in the rooms. Throughout this time, the housekeeping manager began a relationship with another fellow maintenance technician. They would sit outside in the tucked off area behind the hotel and smoke and hang out and kiss on each other (which I saw myself, almost every time I was there to take him to work or pick him up). Before he left for his day off, he told them they needed to be more careful about their relationship, because people were starting to notice things. Now the reason I am sharing this information will become relevant after you understand what happened next. He went back to work the Saturday after his day off. After working for an hour, he was pulled into the office and was told they were placing him on suspension. He asked why, and their answer was harassment. When he questioned what he could have done, they refused to give him an answer. On the discipline documentation form, they place 4 specific names, as “witnesses to the incident.” Two of which do not even work at this specific location. Some additional issues we have with this form are as follows: It states the employee "received written documentation describing conduct by [ ] that is in violation of our company policy." Which is not true, nor was the reasoning ever explained to him, as to how he violated their harassment policy. "Was this incident in violation of our company policy?" answered, "Yes" "If yes, specifically which policy and how the incident violated it?" answered, "Standards of Conduct Section A #11" Keep in mind, they asked SPECIFICALLY, and HOW THE INCIDENT VIOLATED IT. Which like I said before, was never explained to him. He was told to sign a form at 7:45 in the morning, after just waking up, giving him near to no reason he was being suspended, which gave him no opportunity to express his feelings about the situation, and told to go home, where he lost a full day’s pay, as well as Sunday’s pay. As he was leaving, another employee told him on the way out the door that the housekeeping manager had been fired. He called the general manager who had given him this suspension later that day, to speak about this issue. He called his cell phone. He called the hotel twice, once leaving a message to have the manager call with another manager, and then he left a message on his work voicemail. After not hearing back, he sent an e-mail expressing that he wanted to talk about the situation. He never received an e-mail, a call, or any sort of communication. He showed up Monday morning at 11am to have a meeting about the suspension, where he was supposed to learn more about the situation. When in the meeting, he was told that the housekeeping manager and her boyfriend, the other maintenance technician, and another manager that is at a completely different location, were witnesses to this so-called, “harassment.” He asked what he was being accused of, which the general manager answered that he was not going to get into, but that they were going to “part ways.” He was never given a reason, never given a chance to speak his piece, and then was fired, with the accusation against him that he was harassing someone. Which, I know my fiancé’. It’s almost laughable that you would think he would harass anyone. He had never been in trouble at work. He was on time, he worked his shifts, he even came in on his own day off when his maintenance manager refused to answer his phone when the water to the entire building was shut off. He enjoyed his job for the most part, and as far as I could see, was an employee that wasn’t there causing trouble. He came home that day in a down mood. I can only imagine how hurtful it would be for someone to accuse you of something so extravagantly terrible, that it would cause you to lose your job. I could only imagine how it would make you question what you did wrong, and make you feel so low. I say all of this myself because this not only affected him. It has and still is effecting me, my 9-year-old, 8-year-old, 7-month-old baby, and the one I am currently carrying in my stomach. It has made it so we can’t pay our bills. Everything is behind. We have a wedding planned in less than a month and are struggling to pay for anything at this point. He was forced to take a job with a huge pay cut as soon as possible, just to try to keep food on the table. Today, when we went to get his last check, we opened it, and saw that YET AGAIN, they took out an extra $100 in taxes, which before he was ever placed on suspension, he had written out with the manager the proper forms to fix this. He ALSO was shorted 6.5 hours on that check, which he had worked the week he was placed on suspension. I am unsure what Holiday Inn plans to do about their management, the way they handle their policies, or the fact that we have been stolen from (we have the stubs, forms, and e-mails to back all of this up, and are MORE THAN HAPPY to send them along). But I can tell you, having been in management for 10 years, and I am completely blown away and disgusted by how unprofessional this entire situation has been handled. From the money issues, to the false accusations, to the unwarranted termination. I’m sure no one cares if I say that I, nor anyone I know will never stay in Holiday Inn again…blah blah blah. But believe me, I will not give this up. He was wronged. Our family was wronged. We are the ones suffering because of someone else’s poor decisions. We are the ones who are struggling to care for our family and pay our bills and pay for a wedding that is outstanding. So, I would like to know what your company plans to do to handle this. I would like to know that it isn’t Holiday Inn that’s the issue, but the incompetency and maliciousness of your management staff. I would like to know when we’re going to see some type of repayment for all of this, so we can just move on.
do you need any vendors with handmade items

Great stay with courteous staff!
I just spent 4 weeks with this hotel for work. The suite my roommate and I had was awesome. The hotel staff there is absolutely amazing. Everyone is so nice and will do everything they can for you. The housekeeper Elisa (sp?) was the sweetest. Even though I scared the life out of her by accident a few times she always had a smile on her face and was nice to talk to. The only downfall is no continental breakfast but the 2 bedroom suite my roommate and I had was totally worth the sacrifice. Thanks for making my time away from home great.
