Higgins Ferry Park Higgins Ferry Park is located on beautiful Lake Mitchell in Clanton, AL. The park is home to a pavilion, boat launch, swimming area, and RV hook-ups.

The park is approximately 22 acres. Alabama Power Company began leasing the park in 1967 to the Chilton County Commission. The park offers a boat launch, campsites, RV hook-ups, pavilion, and swimming area. There is 28 RV sites which are full hook-up sites with water, electricity, and sewage.
