Inn of Clanton Beverly and Dr Curtis Baker opened Shoney’s Inn and Restaurant in January 1991. After 13 years they decided to sell and enjoy their retirement.

In December 2014, due to bankruptcy, the Inn and the restaurant were shutdown. The Baker family did not want to see their hard work come to an end so they took over ownership again. After everyone’s hard work and dedication to keeping both, the Inn and Shoney’s, locally owned and operated they were able to reopen in March 2015. If you have visited here in the past, come visit us again and see our

progress and watch us grow. We continue to be a favorite stop for business and corporate travelers and are a mainstay for families and fishermen visiting the Clanton and the Lake Mitchell area.
