Clarence Honeyhouse

Clarence Honeyhouse This Historical Landmark is a short-term rental that sleeps eight comfortably in 3 bedrooms with 2.5 baths. I also host wellness workshops and retreats.

You can see available dates on Airbnb, Vrbo or just send a message to book with me personally. After purchasing this historic structure in Clarence Hollow, Jack and Sue restored this stonehouse, rather than remodel. Clarence Hollow is the oldest community in WNY, and we are registered on the local list of historic landmarks in Clarence. Currently, we book the house for short term rentals, such as a weekend or week stay. And wellness workshops are held in this historical setting.

Silent Writing Circle at the Honeyhouse--Thursday, July 21, 6-8pm.

A creative writing workshop- no matter your audience (blogging, craft work, publishing print or Substack, family or no one but yourself), writing is a way to express yourself.
Grab a notebook and begin with guided prompts, sentence starters, or visual inspiration.
You’ll write quietly for an uninterrupted time in a historic, welcoming space.
Afterward, we gather for a gentle round-table conversation, sharing excerpts and reflections from what has emerged on the page.
A calm, self-directed evening of writing in community.

$20 payable at the door in cash/venmo. Includes a mini-lesson on creative writing, a writing journal, herbal teas & home-baked snacks. Register by contacting us with a DM or call/text Sue at 716-328-6684.

WATERFALL RETREAT...
Niagara Falls...a lot of our summer bookings are for families coming from far away, even out of the country, to see the Falls. But did you know there are several local waterfalls within a reasonable driving distance? Eternal Flame, Akron Falls, Glen Park and even Letchworth. Book a "Waterfall Retreat" with me and I will give advice on what Falls to visit!

"Sue! There's honey in the walls!"

We saw it as a good omen to purchase this old house because there were three honeybee hives in the walls, ceilings, and barn. As former beekeepers, we weren't afraid; we saw it as a sign that WE could take on this project. The "Honeyhouse" was born as Jack was scraping massive amounts of honey and wax from within the wall with a machete, fighting off honeybees that didn't like what he was doing.
