The Last Resort is ending the vacation rental business. We had a wonderful 13 year run. It has been a privilege and a pleasure to share this lovely place with my guests. Thank you for giving me the opportunity. You people are fabulous!

Good thing we're closed in the winter. But spring is coming! The days are a leeetle bit longer. We will open the 2021 season on May 28th and hope for another fabulous year. Looking forward to seeing some of you again....

The 2019 season has come to a close. We cannot thank you enough for your patronage. (Especially those of you who have embraced the "Reverse B&B Business Model") in which you make me dinner too if you're making it for yourselves anyway. :) Start thinking about the 2020 season now. It will be our 12th year in business. We couldn't do it without you!

THE REVERSE B&B IS NOT AN APRIL FOOL'S DAY JOKE! I woke up with the horrible realization that some of you might think yesterday's post was a joke. It is NOT a joke. I really DO want you to make me dinner! It's a functioning business model.

NEW PROMOTIONAL BUSINESS MODEL!!! I call it the "Reverse B&B Model." The way it works is that if you are planning to make dinner here you bring a little more food and make enough to give me dinner too. I bring you my plate, you fill it up, I take it home and eat it, then I compliment you on your cooking.

If you are planning to eat in a restaurant you don't have to bring food back to me. This is just for food you are cooking at The Last Resort.

It's worked out wonderfully for me and my housekeepers just cannot believe I pulled this off. I came up with the idea while my guests were making crazy good BBQ and the smells were wafting over to me and I wanted to eat what they were eating, so I decided to ask for some. I've gotten some fabulous food out of the deal.
