You’ve been the one thinking of everything for a while now. This weekend, we did it for you.

Real glass for the w**e & cocktails, because it tastes better that way. Ceramic mugs for slow mornings. Water and ice waiting for you at no additional charge, a copper sink, and a vintage hand mirror that makes you pause for a second on your way out the door.

Black-out masks and a white noise machine for the mornings you’d rather not be rushed. A b**r card on the bed, since the brewery is right downstairs. Coffee and treats in the lobby, plus lawn chairs to carry across the street to Town Park.

You don’t have to plan any of it. We handled the details so the only thing left to figure out is each other.

Every room here keeps a copy of “A Taste of AZ” on the desk, yours to flip through during your stay. It’s one of a handful of small details we’ve tucked into each room… little things that make you feel more at home.

Page 152 has Smelter Town Brewery named a must-visit stop in the state. Convenient, since it’s right downstairs.

But that’s just one page. The rest of the book is full of spots worth checking out in Cottonwood, Jerome, and beyond, so if you’re wondering where to go next, it’s already in your room.

A couple checked in recently and told us something that stuck with us: they saw one of our posts and knew immediately, this was the getaway they’d been trying to plan for months.

This place wasn’t designed for everyone. It was designed for two people who need real time together, the kind that turns into a memory, instead of just another weekend. No noise, no agenda, nothing to plan around but each other.

Remember when a weekend away meant just the two of you?

Not “it’s your turn to drive to practice”, no activity schedule to juggle. Just the two of you, talking without anyone interrupting, doing exactly what you both want, instead of keeping others entertained.

That’s this room. Morning light spilling in through the window, highlighting hundred year old brick. Coffee that goes cold because you’re enjoying conversation together. A pint waiting downstairs at check-in, so the start of your stay already feels an exhale.

Nobody’s climbing on the bed, nobody needs a snack. It’s just quiet, and each other, for as long as you want.

Come remember what that feels like.

Craig and Becky Backus didn’t build The Park Hotel for everyone. They created nine rooms that invite you to relax, keeping the original details from the building first life intact. Just enough distance from Sedona crowds to remember what a weekend away is supposed to feel like.

It’s a place you won’t want to leave. But if you do, Historic Main Street is around the block, Old Town Cottonwood is five minutes down the road, and Jerome is fifteen minutes up the mountain, for whenever you’re ready to be around people again.
