🌿 Now Hiring Camp Hosts for the 2026 Season!

📍 Chief Timothy Park Campground & Store – Clarkston, WA

If your idea of a good day includes fresh air, river views, and waving to campers as they roll in, you might belong here at Chief Timothy Park. Located on a stunning 282 acre island on the Snake River’s Lower Granite Lake, our park opens for the season on April 1st, and we’re counting down to another summer outdoors!

We’re looking to fill two to four full-time camp host positions for the 2026 season. Many of our favorite seasons have featured hosts who enjoy working side by side with a travel partner, but solo hosts have thrived here too. If you love campground life, you’ll fit right in.

✨ About the Park
Chief Timothy Park is the kind of place people come to slow down and stay awhile. We offer:

64 campsites and 4 cozy cabins

An on-site store for campers’ essentials (and ice cream runs 😉)

A playground, four bathhouses, and several docks

A boat launch and some awesome fishing

Hiking trails around the island passing by the Listening Circle

All surrounded by water, trees, and wide-open skies

🏕️ A Day in the Life
Mornings often start with coffee and a walk through the campground as the river wakes up. You’ll help keep sites, bathrooms, and cabins looking sharp, greet arriving guests, answer questions about fishing spots or sunset views, lend a hand in the store, and tackle outdoor projects that make the park shine. It’s active, hands-on work that keeps you moving and rewards you with sunsets, campfire smells, and the satisfaction of a campground well cared for.

⚡ The Details

Full hookup host site (30 amp) (RV Required)

Free laundry and shower access

All hours paid

Physically active, outdoor work

Seasonal full-time positions

📅 Season Timing

Start date: March 29, 2026 (just ahead of opening day)
