Mid July update on The post spawn bite is over and the fish are setting up in their summer haunts. Had some fantastic trips the last 2 weeks. Tail end of topwater and lots of action on Swimbaits, Dropshot and the good ole tube.

The Texas boys came to play for 3 days last week. They had two requests: catch Smallmouth and eat walleye for dinner! We made that happen! 5 great guides running around St Clair putting smiles on faces. Looking forward to seeing them again next year. Big bag of the week went to Russel and Rodney with 22-6 anchored by a 5-4 oz.

Last week on St Clair was fantastic! Lots of smiles with my customers. Jerkbaiting, topwater and swimbaits. Massive hatches of mayflies are ramping up and topwater action is turning on!
