October bull season was not 100% successful this year. Between the bad weather, unusual heavy traffic and just the bull themselves, made this one of the hardest hunting weeks in a long time. All our guides gave 150% effort in helping each other to make this a successful week. They worked well together and made a great team.

Below are the ones who were successful this week. First in was Andrew and his father and they were guided by Jeremiah Jewell. Second bull in was was with Jay and he was guided by Dan Roeder. Last in was Tom and his son who was guided by Ray Miller. Congratulations to everyone.

Ops…we were quick to judge that the season was over. In last night was Ray with his 170lb sow. Ray is officially the last bear tagged out for our season. The cool thing is Ray brought his nephew Colby up for the youth hunt and Colby had the first bear in to start the season and Ray was hunting on the exact same sight as Colby and was able to tag out with the last bear of the season. This is our final post for the bear season of 2026. In tonight was Kevin from West Virginia with this 174lb male. Kevin was hunting with his son Marshall. Both guided by Dan Roeder. Congratulations Kevin.

We also was to say thank you to everyone who bear hunted with us this year. It was an excellent season for everyone. We also want to especially thank all our guided for a great season. It take a village to make the season operate smoothly. It’s a lot of hard work and dedication. So thank you to William Orne, Jon Benway, Gabe Franks, Rob Jacques and Cheryl Damon! Dan and I truly appreciate everything you all do.
